Beverly Tu is a fashion designer and mixed-media artist based in New York. She has collaborated with artists and designers across disciplines in her pursuit of craft and materiality. Her oeuvre demonstrates her constant keenness in exploring and challenging existing art forms and ideas. She received her AAS in Fashion Design from Parsons School of Design in 2017. Tu has showcased her collections at Atlantic City Fashion Week 2019-2021, StylePointe Fashion Show 2019, and Designer Runway competition 2017.
Her other creative projects and curatorial works have been shown at Central Park, El Barrio’s Artspace PS109, New York Live Arts, Chashama Space, Trestle Gallery, La Bodega Gallery, and Ground Floor Gallery, among others. Tu was an Artist in Residence at Trestle Gallery in Brooklyn, NY and Brashnar Creative Project in Skopje, Macedonia in 2018. She participated in the NYFA immigrant artist mentoring program in 2019 and participated in the Bead Project at UrbanGlass in 2021.
